Alanna Panday and Ivor have officially tied the knot, in a beautiful 3-day celebration in Mumbai, India. The digital creator & filmmaker stunned everyone with their fashion-forward outfits & ceremony.
The couple are due to share more BTS of their big day on their joint YouTube channel, where they vlog about their friends, family & life in LA.
We love the couples relationship timeline, it’s been a whirlwind of a beautiful one.
Read more about their big day below.
The mehndi was the first kick-off celebration, of the wonderful 3-day-affair. It took place at their close family friend, Sohail Khan’s, house. The chosen theme was a ‘Tropical Oasis’, something different to Alanna’s usual pastel & boho style – safe to say, she did not disappoint.
Alanna wore an intricate and playful botanical detailed Rahul Mishra outfit, with a fun tropical colour palette. The blouse most definitely stole the show, with a stunning studded ‘Kissing Cranes’ with a 3D effect.
Cranes are the birds that symbolise love, loyalty and harmony. Cranes are often seen in pairs, sculptors tend to portray them as such with a male crane looking ahead while a female crane stands loyally by his side, head bowed slightly.
It wouldn’t be a Bollywood affair, without matching family outfits! Rahul Mishra lovingly designed complementary outfits for the entire family.
Ivor wore a sage green kurta, matching his bride perfectly. Mishra styled him in a hand embroidered organza bundi in sage green and gold.
Alanna’s mother, Deanne Panday, wore a hand embroidered Paradise lehenga in blush pink; with similar motifs to that of Alanna. Alanna’s father wore a matching bandi to Ivor, with complementary colours to match his wife.
We love how the couple have shown us a refreshing way to complement outfits with your friends and family; not by colour, but by fabrics & designs.
For the next event, the Haldi was definitely one of the biggest show-stopped outfits. With an Italian theme, the event, decor & outfits were all put together with shades of soft turquoise, bougainvillaea pinks, and blue skies.
The outfits were designed by Shubhika Sharma, of Papa Don’t Preach. The designer says “Whenever I see Alanna, I instantly think Indian Mermaid”; which is exactly what she embodied in this look.
With a beautiful caped blouse and mermaid cut skirt, Shubhika appropriately captured the couples love for travel, with detailed embroidery incorporating seashells, sheer cutouts, and scalloped hems.
Soon after, right before the actual haldi was applied, the couple changed into comfier casual outfits, designed by Payal Singhal. In true Alanna Panday fashion, she wore a stunning white pastel georgette sharara, for ultimate comfort.
The backless outfit was absolutely stunning, and of course, Ivor wore an ivory chanderi lurex bomber kurta to match.
As the wedding approached, many followers predicted that Alanna would opt for a pastel or blush pink ensemblé, and much to everyones pleasant surprise, the bride chose to have an all white affair.
By opting for Manish Malhotra all-white outfits, this was the perfect match against their Enchanted Forest theme. This was a beautiful full circle moment for the pair, whose Indian Engagement Ceremony outfits were in fact also designed by Manish Malhotra himself.
Alanna opted for an incredible full-sleeve length drop beaded blouse, with an all white Chikankari embroidered and embellished skirt, draped with a scalloped hem romantic veil. Ivor complemented the look in an all-white hand embroidered sherwani, with matching delicate threadwork and crystals.
Alanna & Ivor wore the incredible Falguni Shane Peacock for their reception, a wonderful designer known for her daring cutouts & silhouettes.
