When it comes to wedding planning, one of the most enjoyable parts of planning have to be the outfits. We’ve seen a surge in brides & grooms carefully curating their wedding parties’ outfits down to a tee.
Not only does it make for the perfect aesthetic, it’s also extremely fun to all dress in unison for your most special day. This week, we’re speaking to the founders at Pahri Designs, who specialise in curating the perfect bridesmaids & wedding guest attire which can be customised for your events.
Pahri Designs did such an amazing job with the silk suits I ordered. Everything was perfect from our measurements to the custom colours! The pieces are so versatile. I've already worn them in several different ways.
Our overall design aesthetic is very simplistic and elegant. We use high quality fabric such as silk and organza. The designs typically are based on a pastel theme. The pastel theme showcases a soft tone to our designs. Our outfits can be seen as very girly and modern. The theme is using traditional designs with a modern twist.
Our designs are mainly focused on a contemporary design, however we use traditional designs as a foundation. Traditional designs are timeless and will never go out of style. By combining traditional with contemporary designs, we get the best of both worlds, like Hannah Montana once said. Our key aim is to focus on modern women wearing designs that are still traditional however includes the western touch!
Yes, this is a free of charge service we provide. We want to give our clients the option to customize our designs as we want them to feel comfortable in our designs. For example, I am a heavy busted woman and certain neck styles do not suit me. By having this option included in the package price, the client can wear a design that is bespoke for them and suits their body shape without having to buy a brand new blouse.
We mainly use a variety of silk, organza and georgette within our collection. We use these fabrics as they are high quality fabrics and are durable. The fabrics we use are also very lightweight, which is key in ensuring the outfits are comfortable to wear. Our designs consistently use pearls for the elegant touch!
We test and quality check each of the fabrics and designs we create. We also thoroughly check any samples created. We also repeat this process when creating designs for our clients.
We select colours based upon what colours are currently trending or what will on trend in the future. We also listen to our clients and choose colours that they would like to see in our collection
Yes of course, again this is a free of charge service we provide. Women are of all shapes and sizes and we want to attribute to this. By having this option, each outfit is bespoke made for our clients. The outfit is then tailored to ensure the outfit fits like a glove. The made to measure also includes aspects such as longer blouse length or long sleeves. Again this is to ensure our clients feel comfortable in our designs. On average around 4 weeks. However, if the designs includes hand embroidery work, then this can take an additional 1-2 weeks. International shipping we usually aim to deliver within 4-5 weeks also.
Our designs price range starts from £220 and can go upto £450. For our simple suits collection, the price ranges from £90 – £120.
We love the bead drop tassle trends, we love adding tassel detailing on our designs. We have used this a few times and we love the finish it adds to a blouse. We also love the sequins trend! With a simple, elegant design and sequin fabric = a great unique outfit that is perfect for the upcoming wedding season. Our clients will definitely look and feel like a real life princess with a sequin themed outfit.
Please invest in a good quality steamer. We only recommend to steam our designs to ensure the fabric quality is maintained. We also recommend storing our designs in a garment bag to ensure the outfit is kept safe! We highly recommend this one from Amazon.
