Pantone has finally announced it’s 2024 colour of the year: Peach Fuzz, 13-1023.
Each year, the colour is chosen by studying trends in fashion design, interior design, pop culture and human psychology. The 2022 colour was Viva Magenta, and we definitely saw a lot of it throughout the wedding space.
The enriching tone, Peach Fuzz, was chosen as an ode to the importance of nurturing ourselves and others; which is represented by the warmth of this all-embracing shade between pink and orange. We love the versatility of this tone.
This beautiful shade is definitely no stranger to the world of weddings, so take a look at all the beautiful ways to incorporate Pantone’s colour of the year 2024 into your wedding ceremony.
In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a colour radiant with warmth and modern elegance. A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless.

Your wedding stationery is the first thing your guests will see about your wedding, so you want the theme and vibe to start from day one. For years, we have been seeing so many couples opting for light peach, pink and orange invites; due to the warmth and inviting aura it creates.
Whilst it looks beautiful standalone, it’s also absolutely stunning when paired with other complementary colours, like this Flower Moxie peach fuzz & dusty blue, or even a peach fuzz and sage combo.
Alongside your invites, your wedding welcome signs, directional signs, table signs, menu cards etc., are all equally as important to keep on theme. Pinterest announced ‘Retro Weddings’ as one of the biggest wedding themes 2024, based on the most searched terms. Peach fuzz is the perfect near-neutral tone to complement this.
When you browse the internet, there will be no shortage of peach fuzz themed hen & bachelorette inspiration and products. Whether it be the decor with these Postbox Party balloons, or the lovely little details with these Retro Heart sunglasses: you can incorporate these colours as little or as much as you like.
When it comes to your wedding decor, the draping, the florals, the furniture; everything can incorporate subtle hints of peach, as it’s the perfect complementary colour. Whether it’s with a palm tree backdrop, traditional manor house, or even a hotel setting; it adds a romantic layer to everything.
Similarly, the theme can follow you through to your reception tablescapes. This colour palette is perfect for a daytime or evening event. A gold metallic shade will also beautifully pull the whole look together.
For your bridesmaids, groomsmen, or anyone in the wedding party, peach fuzz is extremely complementary with our traditional deep red wedding tones. The soft tones of this fabric are uber-romantic and super re-wearable, adding to the overall elegance of your events.
As a bridal look, peach fuzz is ideal for an engagement ceremony, pre-wedding event, wedding ceremony, and reception: a super versatile tone that can be the base colour or complementary embroidery on your dream outfit. It’s also absolute perfection for a destination beach wedding.
For the groom, we would absolutely recommend subtle odes to peach fuzz through your groom wedding accessories. This includes your tie, bowtie, pocket square, rumaal, buttonholes & so much more. It’s also the perfect way to subtly complement your partner.
We can’t forget the accessories! Regardless of if it’s a perfect match or a contrasting piece, a peach fuzz wedding set is extremely re-wearable for future events.
This stunning Jane Dough wedding cake is also an incredible subtle ode to the Pantone Colour Of The Year 2024 with it’s middle layer adding a pop of colour & character, perfectly complemented by the florals surrounding it.
If you still want to continue the theme with your guests, as they go home, there’s a wonderful way to incorporate peach fuzz into your wedding favours and sweet treats for your guests to take home. A theme can often seem overpowering, but remember, subtle touches go a very long way in creating a story.
