Everything Radhika Merchant Wore To Her Pre-Wedding Festivities

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you would have seen the highly anticipated pre-wedding festivities for Anant Ambani & Radhika Merchant kicked off this weekend in Jamnagar.

With all eyes on their celebrations, the star-studded guest list, and the elaborate performances; one thing that we looked out for the most was the range of couture outfits worn by the bride-to-be.

Over the last few years, Radhika Merchant has been in the spotlight for many wonderful reasons; one being her choice of accessories.

With that in mind, here’s all you need to know about the elaborate selection of couture that she opted for this weekend.

DAY ONE - AN EVENING IN EVERLAND

To kick off their celebrations, the families hosted a welcome event for their guests in Jamnagar, with the theme of ‘An evening in Everland’. Each guest was provided a comprehensive event guide and mood board to help plan their wardrobe accordingly.

Radhika Merchant opted for a stunning three-coloured pastel Chikankari ghagra by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, paired with a stunning pearl embellished blouse and diamond necklace.

NIGHT ONE

Once the guests were welcomed, the families hosted an extravagent cocktail ceremony with luxury & opulence.

The bride-to-be opted for an absolutely iconic couture Versace gown, inspired by Blake Lively’s 2022 ravishing Met Gala look. Unlike Lively’s dual-toned gown, Radhika Merchant embraced a singular bronze tone; paired with a pink neutral makeup look.

The icon paired her look with diamond and gold accessories, which complemented the look perfectly.

LATE NIGHT ONE - MELA ROUGE

To top off the first night, themed as Mela Rouge, Radhika Merchant decided to opt for a vibrant multi-coloured fringe dress by the London-based Indian designer Ashish Gupta and Manolo Blahnik green embellished mules. She was an absolute vibe and emulated a disco ball with this fun & flirty look. To elevate her look, she opted for a set of tinted heart-shaped glasses from Cartier.

DAY TWO - TAKE A WALK ON THE WILDSIDE

It’s no surprise that the happy couple, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, are great animal lovers. As an ode to their love for nature, day two was themed as ‘A Walk On The Wildside’ with a Jungle inspired theme.

Shining radiantly, the bride-to-be wore a trendy blue leopard print dress, custom made by Dolce & Gabbana, which was breezy and chic. Known for her elegant, yet comfortable, vibe; this look came as no surprise to many of us.

NIGHT TWO

As they wrap up day 2 of the lavish pre-wedding festivities, the bride-to-be opted for a Manish Malhotra bespoke golden lehenga, which featured a metal mesh drape intricately embellished with over 20,000 Swarovski crystals exquisitely crafted by 70 artisans; in a truly exquisite golden moment.

Paired with a multi-layered necklace and glam makeup: Merchant definitely provided inspiration for every bride-to-be.

DAY THREE - HASTAKSHAR CEREMONY

Last, but definitely not least, Radhika Merchant was an absolute vision in Tarun Tahiliani couture in a pre-draped lehenga saree with tapestry of hand-painted miniature artistry within kasheedakari craftsmanship, with jaali and resham work.

The look was elevated by a hand-painted dupatta and scalloped rose gold tissue veil; styled by Rhea Kapoor.
