The royal wedding affair has begun as Parineeti Chopra & Raghav Chadha tie the knot in front of family, friends, celebs & politicians at the Leela Palace & Taj Lake Palace, in Udaipur.

The politician and actor exchanged rings in a lavish engagement ceremony in May 2023, confirming the rumours after months of dating speculation, in Delhi.

It is said that Parineeti Chopra instantly knew that Raghav was 'the one', as she captioned a recent Instagram post with "When you know, you know. One breakfast together and I knew – I had met the one."

The couples beautiful ceremony took place in Rajasthan; following in the trends of numerous Bollywood celebrities including Sidharth Malhotra & Kiara Advani, Katrina Kaif & Vicky Kaushal and Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas, this couple also opted for a royal wedding affair in a stunning fort.

As a couple who really admires privacy, we noted that upon arrival, all guests phone cameras were covered with a red tape. This was supposedly to ensure that everyone could enjoy the ceremony & not leak any photos too soon. Talk about a real unplugged wedding ceremony!

Leela Palace

Have you heard of this floating paradise? The Taj Lake Palace is situated in the middle of Lake Pichola in Udaipur. This floating palace is renowned for its picturesque location, offering breathtaking views of the lake, the Aravalli Mountains, and the historic city of Udaipur.

The outfits

There was tons of speculation on who Parineeti Chopra & Raghav Chadha would choose for their wedding outfits. In true regal manner, the pair opted for Manish Malhotra to curate their pieces for their most memorable day.

Parineeti Chopra opted for a stunning ivory lehenga, adorned with intricate geometric hand embroidery in vintage gold thread, which took over 2,500+ hours to design & perfect before their wedding. She opted for a unique 2-dupatta look, with one draped right across her blouse in a beautiful fashion.

Parineeti’s blouse was similar to her lehenga skirt embroidery, with a beautiful circle neckline and 3/4 arms length sleeves. We absolutely love her stunning pearl detailing on the hem of her blouse, which we caught glimpses of through some of the images.

The look was completed with stunning turquoise & emerald kundan jewellery. We are particularly obsessed with her stunning maang tikka. Alongside this, the baby-breath varmalas, which have become an extremely popular Indian wedding trend, finished the look perfectly.

The most standout elements for us were definitely Parineeti’s baby pink bridal chura and her embroidered dupatta which adorned her husband’s name ‘Raghav’ on the back – it’s the little touches which really made their personalities shine through.

For her bridal makeup, Parineeti opted for a neutral base with bronze eyes – something quite different to what we have seen on celeb brides recently, where they have opted for the no-makeup-makeup look!
